AAA Comprehensive Training Modules — the Ab Initio Training
From the first lesson onward, our focus is directed to this one goal. You will not only learn how to deal with the complexities of air flight, but we also ensure that you are trained in the practical operations of the airline business. You will learn how to handle checklists and forms to the same degree as actually flying in accordance with stipulated, standardised procedures.
AAA Professionals with extensive experience as Instructors
Our training courses were developed by Airline Pilots so that students of our training facility receive training by professional airline pilots as instructors — therefore learning from their future colleagues. All flying and theory instructors look back on many years of professional experience — our team also consists of aeronautical meteorologists and active line pilots or air controllers.
AAA Training Fleet of Modern Aircraft
Our training facilities are based in the town of Wiener Neustadt, which is located just 30 Kilometres south of Austria's capital city of Vienna. The city of Wiener Neustadt is already the home of the renowned aircraft manufacturer Diamond Aircraft, and so the Aviation Academy Austria is using their fleet of modern aircraft for training purposes. The choice of available aircraft is very broad and ranges from the DA20 two seater to the IFR Trainer DA40 up to the new light twin aircraft DA42, which incorporates the latest avionics technology in first class engine engineering and innovative airframe design.
AAA Top Training Equipment
Our glass cockpit simulation cabins provide an excellent introduction to the complex integrated airline cockpits which our cadets will be flying in after the completion of their training. In the near future the D-JET will be at the top end of that range?. Our student training fleet comprises of a total of 18 aircraft, including a Piper Seneca, Piper Malibu and Cessna Citation.
Type-Rating Training
No matter whether you already have experience in flying and are owner of a pilots licence or you are sitting behind the controls of an aircraft for the first time; AAA is the right choice when it comes to type-rating. We operate a full flight simulator of the latest technology at our facility. Currently we provide type-ratings for the Fokker F70/100 Series and the Cessna 525 Series such as the CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3. Courses are built upon a modular system and some can even be completed using long-distance learning methods.
